If you're looking to spend ALL DAY on Jost Van Dyke relaxing in front of the Soggy Dollar Bar, then this trip is for you!

We depart from both Red Hook in St. Thomas and Cruz Bay in St. John by 9 am and go directly to Jost Van Dyke. The 30 minute run over from the USVI offers beautiful scenery with turquoise waters. The captain will have loaded the ship's cooler up with complimentary beer and water for the day's adventure. We are first required to stop at Great Harbour to clear the boat and guests through BVI customs where the office will collect the $120pp cash for the international processing fees. Depending on other arriving traffic, this usually takes less than 20 minutes while the guests wait onboard.

Passports Stamped... Then Onward to White Bay

jost01White Bay on Jost Van Dyke is the next bay over and only a short 8 minute boat ride from Great Harbour. The entire bay is protected by a reef which makes for calmer waters, and offers two entrances for day- sail and charter boats. The entire stretch of beach is only a couple hundred yards from one end to the other and offers a variety of places to eat, drink, and shop. White Bay has been referred to as one of the Caribbean's best beaches.

There are no docks in White Bay, so everyone must swim or wade in to shore from their boats.

Because our boats are designed for operations in shallow waters,  Dolphin can get right up to the beach.  The captain will put an anchor off the bow, and then tie the stern up to a beach-hook.

Can't swim? No worries.....

From our parking spot the water is normally chest deep so you can touch the bottom and wade in.

The boat and captain will normally spend the day tied up to the beach  (But not always!) so personal items can be left onboard, and guests are welcome to come aboard whenever they please.

We apologize in advance if we cancel due to bad weather or rough seas on short notice. Try to bring a dry bag along to keep personal effects dry throughout the day.
